Hey all!
My name is Libby and I’m from Bozeman, MT. I started climbing mostly indoors when I was about 17. I was instantly hooked when I got into it because I had the best mentors guiding me in this sport. Climbing came into my life at a very vulnerable time and the community and sport really helped me feel safe in exploring this growing passion. It really changed my life and turned me into the person I am now. I first got into bouldering outdoors once I met my current partner and he took me to Joes Valley. I completely fell in love with it.
When I’m not climbing, I work at an artisan bakery where I have done everything from making over a thousand pounds of bread for the day to making our sweets and pastries. Working at the bakery has allowed me to further my passion of climbing by giving my partner and I the opportunities to take longer bouldering trips with our two dogs the past couple of years. On my trips I’ve been able to meet some amazing folks who I hope to have as life long friends. I could not be more grateful and psyched to be on the Flashed team.
