Isaac Schock

Hey there!  I’m Isaac Schock from the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia.  I’ve spent the last four years falling in love with the sport of rock climbing. Climbing to me is more then sport, it’s community, it’s therapy, it’s family!

My favorite part about climbing is being outside in nature with my friends.  Nothing beats hiking into the forest and finding a beautiful boulder that inspires you to climb it.  I also love that climbing forces you to be absolutely present for that minute you are on a boulder.

 The Boulderfields is where you will find me on most of my days off.  I feel has to be one of the most underrated bouldering areas around, and I think more people need to see it for themselves.  I feel so lucky to have so much good rock and great gyms to climb so close to home.  When I’m not bouldering outside I’ll either be route setting, or coaching the next generation of local crushers at Gneiss Climbing.

My favorite Flashed product has to be the Big Squishy, I love its size and quality and that I can stack two additional pads on the back of it with its strap system.  If you’ve ever been to the Boulderfields you’ll know that the more pads the merrier.
