Bouba Boulder Baden
Baden, Switzerland, a town rich in history, including old castles, Roman baths, and beautiful hot springs. Owners Dmitri and Kevin wanted to add a vibrant and energetic climbing space to the area. With a background in construction and Ice Climbing World Cups, they carefully crafted the desired climbing experience known as Bouba. A large space with natural wood walls, expansively high ceilings, and a top-level setting makes this gym a must-go if you’re traveling through Switzerland.

SoCal
Where community comes together. The Calgary Climbing Center has been a gathering place for local climbers for over 25 years. Relationships have been forged, adventures planned, and post-work laughs and friendly competitions are the norm for the locals who call this home. SoCal was the first boulder-only gym for the Calgary Climbing Center and embodies much of this rich history, celebrating it’s strong Women members, local crags, and development past. New concepts like custom printed pads and lighting that beats to the music, along with multiple training boards and small cafe carry that history of gathering forward. A place to call home.

Quadrel Boulder
A World Cup competition background with a desire to bring the best climbing experience to Chur, CH and advanced innovation is what brought our two companies together. Our carpet composite top with 4-layer impact foam (including a memory foam topper for bounce reduction) is the first of its kind in Europe. Quadrel brings incredible attention to detail with an intricate self-built wall structure, a beautiful hand made bar and food atmosphere, and quality routesetting inspired by active members of the Swiss National Team.

Touchstone The Post
With a huge heart and love of sharing climbing with the world, Touchstone brings a full-service gym to Pasadena. The large space houses route lead and toprope walls, varied bouldering terrain, fitness classes, youth programs, and much more. Also, each of these is led by the best people you can meet. Committed to supporting organizations to make climbing more equitable and accessible, Touchstone also puts on the Woman Up Climbing festival. This festival celebrates the incredible women and non-binary folx across our climbing community. After a covid disruption, it’s back on in February 2024, so be sure to participate if you can.

Shaker Rocks
The best thing about climbing is Heart. Our sport draws together people who perhaps initially are looking for adventure and fitness, but get hooked by the like minded positive people and community they meet. Annie Richman wanted to bring this heart to the NE Ohio area to give people a place to come together. At first step into Shaker Rocks you’ll appreciate all the little and big details that create this vibrant and commodius locale. An open concept with lots of natural light, terraced levels for specific activities that allow easy group flow, lots of lines of sight, and a main climbing inspired artpiece. If you’re in the Ohio area be sure to drop by and say Hi!

Reach Climbing
Mike Feinberg had climbed and competed around the country for years and when deciding to start his own climbing gym in his hometown of Philly, Mike did his due diligence and wanted the best product available. We partnered with Reach to find all the right solutions in layout to complement an excellent gym design. The host of the 2019 Youth National Championships only months after opening Reach is already one of the premier full-service facilities in the Northeast.

High Point Huntsville
We first worked with High Point on their Birmingham facility, with the gym finishing just prior to hosting one of inaugural National Cup Series competitions. We were excited to be partnered with the High Point team again on their projects in Huntsville and also Memphis as they push to introduce climbing to new markets with innovative designs, including outdoor spaces, kid zones, and elaborate route, bouldering and training areas.

Climb Murfreesboro
We love the Climb crew. With the friendly Nashville roots, for over a dozen years they’ve been defining the fun and relaxed gym spirit, supporting and giving back to their community. After expanding to two facilities in Nashville, Lance and Drew had greater plans still, and we were thrilled to begin working with them in 2017 with the next level planning for their Bentonville and Murfreesboro facilities. Having done it all themselves in the past, they wanted to step it up, with the best in padding possible to share the climbing experience with people, and a partnership with Flashed to help create environments people could learn, push themselves, and thrive in. Only months after opening, Climb Murfreesboro was host to the USAC Collegiate Nationals and we can only expect more great things from the smart and fun (Hotter than Chicken!) team at Climb.

Eagle Climbing + Fitness
A completely modern mountain town climbing gym, we were thrilled to work with Larry Moore on Eagle Climbing + Fitness. With multiple levels, bouldering, and route terrain in overlapping zones, kids, and training areas, we worked through every detail to refine every angle of the padding for a finished product that would perform with versatility and look sharp too.

Movement RiNo
Dare we say, one of the freshest gym designs and one of the best indoor bouldering spots in the world, our good friends at Movement built a stunner with RiNo. We could not be more psyched to have worked every step of the way to help create this positive experience for the boulderers in Denver. From the top out boulders when you walk in, the traverse walls, to the comp, steep, training and massive freestanding blocs in the lower level, the facility has every type of terrain and Flashed cushion’s all the falls off those walls. With smart walkways throughout, our padding systems hug the climbing zones with comfortable landing space but there’s enough concrete walkways for climbers to step on the Flashed padding for the climbing experience, but to then stay on the lanes as they talk with friends, consider the beta or just meander through to see which awesome wall they want to climb on next. This was one of the most complicated layouts we’ve done, working up to the base of walls, under and around wildly diverse footprints, with walkways throughout, and we love it.

Ascend
Steel Town’s gem, Alex, Paul, and Aaron built a great climbing gym for the Pittsburgh community, high quality with a down-to-earth vibe. We’ve talked to more than a few who have called Ascend PGH one of the best bouldering-centric gyms in the east. Our dark Cordura cover seamlessly blends in with the purple, blue, charcoal and gray walls, giving Ascend a unique look and fostering the kind of place you always want to be – that clean, comfortable, chill out and climb atmosphere.

USA Climbing
We love competitions and supporting young climbers in the competition realm. And no-one does climbing competitions better than USA Climbing, growing the sport and putting on the highest level events.
