It features all-metal hardware, avoiding the breakage issues often seen with plastic components, and reinforced corners to reduce wear over time.
The pad is equipped with 4.25 inches of high-quality Canada/USA foam, providing excellent cushioning for repeated impacts. A 3/4 inch layer of USA closed-cell foam adds durability and firmness. The carrying system includes a padded waist belt, top stabilizer straps, and a standard sternum strap for a secure and comfortable fit, even on longer hikes.
